Bondar Nursing Endowment Fund
Karen Bondar (Bean), a nurse, was a beautiful person. She had a sense of humour, a depth of character, a humanitarian; the nurse that you would like to have looking after you, caring and compassionate. Karen battled cancer for five years and died in August 2001 at the age of 54. The Bondar Nursing Fund has been established by her sons and family in her memory. The aim is to encourage compassionate students to enter the nursing field through financial assistance.
