Online Donations

Use your Visa or Mastercard credit card to make a secure online donation here.  Our payment platform servers are PCI-DSS compliant so that they can securely process credit cards and handle sensitive payment information.  They are also physically secured in a Tier 3 facility located in Canada and your connection to our servers is encrypted.

Although using a credit card is convenient, if you plan to make a large contribution we encourage you to contact our office prior to doing so as the credit card transaction fees can be quite high.

Donation Using Securities

There are additional benefits of donating securities or mutual funds to Huronia Community Foundation. If you are interested in doing this, please contact your financial advisor to help you with the process.

Huronia Community Foundation utilizes the services of our trusted partner CanadaHelps to manage this process. To donate using securities or mutual funds, please do so via the CanadaHelps Donation form.

Facebook Fundraising

You can use a Facebook Fundraiser to raise money for Huronia Community Foundation allowing you to share your fundraiser with friends & family in order to get donations and reach your goal, however, IT IS IMPORTANT TO NOTE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION:

HCF will receive your donation via the PAYPAL GIVING FUND CANADA. PAYPAL DOES NOT pass along your contact information nor do they allow a donor to select which fund you wish to donate to. Therefore, YOU MUST INDICATE TO OUR OFFICE WITHIN 15 DAYS OF YOUR CAMPAIGN ENDING the following details:

1. The total amount your campaign raised
2. Your complete contact details
3. The fund to which you wish the donation be applied to

If we don’t hear from you, all funds received via the PayPal Giving Fund will be allocated to the HCF Sustainability Fund.
