The Huronia Ukrainian Support Project is supported by the Penetanguishene Lions Ukrainian Support Club, Huronia Community Foundation, and Knox Presbyterian Church in Midland.

We work closely with others to help Ukrainian families who have fled from the war in Ukraine. The families we support receive immediate assistance upon arrival for finding appropriate accommodations, provision of essential needs such as clothing, apartment furnishings, bedding, kitchen essentials, etc., school registration, searching for employment opportunities, assistance to obtain government documents and other needs for up to their first 12 months in Canada.
