HCF is a registered charity founded in 2000 to serve the North Simcoe Community. We are one of the over 200 local foundations that are a member of Community Foundations Canada. HCF is devoted to helping local residents invest in building strong and resilient places to live, work and play. We provide grants to qualified donees using the proceeds from the many funds established at HCF by generous individuals, groups, and businesses. Each year, grants totalling between $200,000 to $500,000 are given by HCF to support the environment, health care, mental health, sports & recreation, youth & education, seniors, arts & culture, and a large range of community services.
